I have some signed copies of my book 'Mail by Rail: the history of the
TPO & the Post Office Railway' for sale. The 128pp hardback includes
chapters on TPO history, services, rolling stock, exchange apparatus,
postmarks, personnel, Railnet and the Post Office Railway (London) and
is illustrated with many photographs.
Published in 1995 it has been out of print for several years. The UK
price, including p&p, is £18.00 per copy for payment by cash/cheque.
Copies can be ordered via www.amazon.co.uk if you wish to pay by
credit card, and pay a bit extra for Amazon's commission.

To order direct email me (remove spamtrap) and I'll give you the
address.

Must be really, really good. In that you never explained what "TPO"
means and you have the unmitigated affrontery to suggest that sellling
a signed copy of "your" book is in some waty an incentive to buy it.

Must be a newbie to collecting or never explored beyond the common
commemoratives and Fleetwood FDC (Oh sorry ... First Day Covers).

Lots of 'clues' in the title - but since you probably find Google too
difficult ... TPO - Traveling Post Office (whether railroad, trolly, bus or
van).

Author signed books do have later value - see ABE (sorry again American Book
Exchange). Still the value IS for those interested in the subject ... eh?

HAGD - (go find that one on your own!)

WE ALL CAN LEARN NEW THINGS>>> EVERY ONE.... there is no such thing as a
dumb question... especially if you don't know the answer.... you may like
one of my favourite quotes... "all that is not given is lost"....

Imagine if Stradivarius (famous violin guy... ) would have shared his
secrets... how many more fabulous instruments we would have inthe the world
for talented people to play... not only the RICH.... kk

this .25 cents worth is complimentary today... next week it will be .37 cash
in advance :-)

Well to me it appears that "Mr. Johnson" has not even been prepared to
come back here and explain himself. I wonder how many books he has
sold............

Quite a few to the cognoscetti ...

FWIW, Sharing knowledge it a mutual thing - you still have to have a
receptive pupil. Try -asking- instead of -bashing-, eh?
